Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Lucile, replying to a Lucile message, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Description of Service
Lucile is an AI-assisted operational messaging and workflow assistant for contractor businesses. We help authorized users handle project coordination, scheduling, timesheets, invoice and payment reminders, customer support, and internal operational communication.
Lucile is operational and transactional in nature. It is not a marketing platform and does not send promotional content, mass marketing, or unsolicited outreach.
Authorized Use Only
Access to Lucile is limited to users that a Lucile customer has authorized as part of their business — including owners, employees, subcontractors, and designated customers. Unauthorized phone numbers that contact Lucile receive an access-denied response and are not added to any outreach list.
You agree not to share your access, impersonate another user, or use Lucile in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms.
SMS & WhatsApp Messaging
Lucile delivers operational messages over SMS and WhatsApp, depending on how the business has configured the service. Messages are transactional and may include project updates, scheduling confirmations, timesheet prompts, invoice and payment reminders, customer-service replies, and account or access notifications.
Lucile does not use SMS or WhatsApp messaging for unsolicited marketing, purchased lead outreach, or mass promotional campaigns.
Message frequency varies based on your role and the activity of your business. You consent to receive these messages by providing your phone number to a Lucile-enabled business as part of an existing business relationship, operational workflow, project coordination process, employment relationship, or customer-service interaction.
STOP and HELP
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages from Lucile. You will receive a confirmation and no further SMS messages will be sent. You may opt back in at any time by contacting the business directly or initiating a new supported workflow.
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at jonathan@getlucile.com. Opt-outs apply to the messaging channel used to send the STOP request; WhatsApp opt-outs are handled through WhatsApp's controls.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Lucile does not charge for messages, but your mobile carrier may. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging and data plan.
User Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and use Lucile only for lawful, operational purposes related to your business.
You will not use Lucile to send abusive, harassing, or unlawful content, to interfere with the service, or to attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access.
Privacy
Your use of Lucile is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Mobile phone numbers and opt-in data collected for SMS messaging are not shared or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers that help us operate Lucile — including hosting, telecom, AI inference, and analytics providers — may process this information only on our behalf and only to deliver the service.
AI-Generated Content
Lucile uses artificial intelligence to draft messages, summarize information, and assist with workflows. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content — including invoices, timesheets, and customer-facing messages — before acting on or sending it.
Service Availability
Lucile is provided on an “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, including messaging features, at any time.
SMS and WhatsApp delivery depends on third-party carriers and platforms outside our control, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free delivery.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucile is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Lucile Inc. and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid to Lucile in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars (US$100) if no fees were paid.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use of Lucile after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you and Lucile Inc. consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
